Eastgate Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dedicated business office in East Providence, RI. The role focuses on census reconciliation, monthly billing for private accounts and government programs, and timely collections.

The candidate should be proficient in Excel, detail-oriented, and capable of communicating with residents, families, DHS, and attorneys. This is a full-time position at a 5-star facility offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Long-term care Medicaid experience is required.
• Billing for Medicare/Medicaid and third-party payers is a plus; A/R experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and data entry accuracy is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for residents, families and staff.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and stay organized.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile nursing home census and align with billing records.
• Prepare and submit monthly billing for private, Medicare, Medicaid and third-party insurers.
• Communicate with residents, families, DHS and attorneys regarding collections.
• Stay current on Medicare, Medicaid and third-party billing regulations.
• Post and apply cash receipts to resident accounts accurately.

Qualifications and Experience

• Long Term Care Medicaid Experience
• Third-party insurance billing (Medicare/Medicaid) and A/R experience a plus

Accounts Receivable responsibilities

• Reconciliation of nursing home Census
• Prepares, submits and follows up on monthly billing for private accounts, Medicare, Medicaid & 3rd party Insurance
• Communicates with involved parties including residents, families, DHSand attorneys on matters related to collections.
• Remains current on all Medicare, Medicaid and 3rd party insurance regulations for billing purposes
• Posting and applying cash receipts appropriately to resident accounts
