Job summary

Continental Aerospace Technologies in Mobile, AL seeks an Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage invoicing, cash application, and collections. You will post sales orders, reconcile accounts, and support month-end close while ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years' accounts receivable, billing, cash application or related experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and high-volume transaction processing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply customer cash receipts accurately and timely using remittance information and customer details.
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, short payments, overpayments, deductions, and misapplied receipts.
• Create and issue customer invoices, debit memos, credit memos, and billing adjustments with supporting documentation.
• Post sales orders in ERP after verifying pricing, terms, tax, and documentation requirements.
• Reconcile customer accounts and payment activity; investigate variances and document corrections.
• Support collection follow-up on past-due balances and document commitments and actions.
• Monitor credit limits and communicate hold/release decisions.
