Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager for a reputable organization in the Triad area of North Carolina. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on oversight for the AR team and drive accurate month-end closings.

Responsibilities include overseeing AR operations, maintaining the AR subledger, and supervising a 3-person staff. Strong analytical, communication, and detail-oriented skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience with a focus in A/R operations.
• Previous supervisory experience is required.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of AR and AP operations.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the A/R department.
• Oversee and maintain the AR subledger.
• Ensure A/R is accurate and ready to close at month-end.
• Supervise a total staff size of 3.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Review and approve A/R transactions, ensure payments are applied properly and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports related to A/R activities for senior management.
• Resolve discrepancies or issues related to A/R, NSF checks and disputed transactions.
• Develop and implement policies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide training and support to the A/R staff.
• Analyze accounts to identify trends and discrepancies.
