Job summary

Segrera Associates is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager in Tampa to oversee daily AR operations, including billing, collections, and cash application. You will lead and develop the AR team, monitor aging reports, and ensure accurate postings while driving process improvements and internal controls.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 5+ years in AR or related accounting, with prior supervisory experience.

• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of billing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations.
• Experience working with ERP/accounting systems.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AR reporting and provide updates on aging, collections, and key metrics
• Support month-end close and related accounting activities
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
• Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes and strengthen internal controls
• Assist with audits and other accounting projects as needed
