Job summary

CABVI seeks an Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee the agency’s accounts receivable process and ensure timely receipt of payments from all customers, including central industries, rehabilitation services, base stores, and miscellaneous billings. You will supervise staff, enforce internal controls, and align AR activities with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Minimum five years of accounts receivable experience required, including supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP as it relates to AR.
• Experience with ERP software and financial reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AR activity across agency segments and ensure timely payments.
• Lead and train the AR team; manage workload and performance.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly financial statements for 507 Kent Street Corporation.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and billing to collect funds.
• Produce weekly aging reports and KPIs; assist audits and month-end close.
• Manage vendor communications and payment status; resolve billing discrepancies.
• Drive process improvements and serve as SME for ERP implementations.
