Qualifications

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire accounts receivable process, from invoice generation to collections, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collection activities.
• Perform regular account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies to ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare and analyze aging reports, identifying trends and issues and providing recommendations for improvements.
• Manage the implementation of new systems and processes, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Coordinate with other departments, including sales and customer service, to resolve billing issues and improve customer satisfaction.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred but not required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a managerial or Supervisory role.
• Strong experience in the manufacturing and consumer goods industry, with a deep understanding of industry-specific accounting practices is preferred but not required
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft and other accounting software, with experience in system implementation (preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to manage collections and resolve past due accounts.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to generate and interpret aging reports and identify discrepancies.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with other departments.
• High level of integrity and reliability, with a strong commitment to upholding company standards and policies.
