Job summary

Reed Family Companies is seeking an Invoice Specialist at our Modesto location to manage daily invoicing for George Reed and 711 Materials. Responsibilities include issuing invoices by email/mail, maintaining two-day turnarounds, and coordinating credits and rebills with management.

The role supports AR activities, balancing pivots across Vista, Command and Apex, with daily management updates and backups as needed. Strong Excel/Word skills and organized, proactive work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Receivable and Credit Collections.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong accounting principles knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Daily invoicing for George Reed and 711 Material tickets.
• Email or mail daily invoices to customers.
• Maintain a two day turnaround for invoicing for George Reed and 711 Materials.
• Process credit and rebills after approval by management.
• Balance pivot tables between Vista, Command and Apex systems.
• Maintain daily email updates to management on invoicing and approvals.
• Maintain Credit and Rebill Spreadsheet and monthly distribution to Corporate Credit Manager.
• Process soft close monthly to ensure all tickets are invoiced for the month.
• Collaborate with the AR Lead to resolve invoicing challenges.
• Backup for receptionist as needed.
• Assist AR/Credit team with other requests.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere with customers, vendors, colleagues and management.
