Beacon Hill is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support day-to-day AR operations in San Jose. You will handle billing, cash applications, collections, reconciliations, and customer account maintenance in a fast-paced team.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with ERP systems; experience with SAP, Infor, or Avalara is a plus. Bachelor degree preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Process customer invoices, credits, and billing adjustments.
• Post and apply customer payments and cash receipts.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts.
• Perform collections and communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain customer accounts and update billing information.
• Process remittance information and research unapplied payments.
• Assist with sales tax reporting, reconciliations, and exemption certificates.
• Run credit checks and assist with customer payment terms.
• Respond to customer billing and AR inquiries.
• Assist with month-end close and AR reporting.
• Provide additional accounting and AP support as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to support day-to-day AR operations within a growing accounting team. This position will be responsible for billing, cash applications, collections, account reconciliations, and customer account maintenance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer invoices, credits, and billing adjustments
• Post and apply customer payments and cash receipts
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts
• Perform collections and communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
• Maintain customer accounts and update billing information
• Process remittance information and research unapplied payments
• Assist with sales tax reporting, reconciliations, and exemption certificates
• Run credit checks and assist with customer payment terms

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Accounts Receivable or related accounting experience
• Experience with billing, cash applications, collections, or account reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with MS Suite
• Manufacturing, distribution, or similar industry experience preferred (not required)
• SAP, Infor, Avalara, or comparable ERP/tax software experience is a plus
• Sales tax experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
