Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting required.
• 1-4 years of experience in accounts receivable, general accounting or similar accounting support role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Advanced Excel knowledge preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily customer invoicing and credit memo processing, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Oversee accounts receivable collection activities, including daily check deposits, customer follow-up and resolution of outstanding balances.
• Prepare and distribute credit and collections reports to management and the corporate office.
• Establish and maintain customer accounts, ensuring accurate and complete customer information.
• Prepare and distribute daily sales, bookings and margin reports to support management decision making.
• Support Group Controller with month-end closing activities, including journal entry preparation, account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and support documentation, including tax exemption certificates, invoices, checks and receipts.
