Job summary

Regional Transportation District (RTD) is seeking an accounting professional to administer Oracle Order Management, process receivables, and reconcile daily deposits. You will manage fare media product orders, execute journal entries, and maintain accurate records for month-end close.

This role requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail. The position involves multitasking in a fast-paced environment, working with various departments, and adhering to RTD policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 semester hours in Accounting, Business or similar discipline.
• Minimum of two years experience in an accounting-related position with strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with financial systems (Oracle) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Administers and coordinates in Oracle - Order Management, sales order generation and invoicing.
• Processes receivables, daily monetary receipts, and applies payments to customer accounts.
• Maintains deposit logs and reconciles to bank statements prior to GL closing.
• Performs QC and handling of fare media products and related reports.
• Reconciles daily sales, prepares subledger transfers, and generates journal vouchers.
• Handles inventory, packaging, and distribution of fare media to internal and external customers.
