Job summary

Sound Transit is seeking a financial professional to contribute to the ORCA program by managing revenue operations, including accounts receivable and accounts payable. A BA/BS in accounting or related field and at least three years of AR/AP experience are required.

You will support month-end close, invoicing accuracy, and vendor payments while ensuring strong customer service to internal teams and partner agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Three years of AR/AP and customer service experience.
• GAAP knowledge and ability to apply accounting principles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar ERP/CRM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable duties for the ORCA program.
• Process invoices and oversee billing to partner agencies.
• Support month-end close activities and journal entries.
• Reconcile accounts and assist with financial reporting and analyses.
• Interact with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve issues.
• Review AR aging and coordinate with agencies on past-due items.
• Support process improvements for invoicing and cash receipts.
• Assist with audits and compliance as needed.
