The role requires 5+ years in finance/accounting with a computerized AP system, an associate degree, and strong attention to detail. You will support month-end close, IRS 1099 tasks, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree in Accounting, Business or similar.
• Minimum 5 years in finance/accounting with analytical skills.
• Minimum 5 years using a computerized Accounts Payable system.
• Equivalent combination of education/experience allowed.

Aufgaben

• Manages end-to-end AP processing, including reviewing, verifying, and reconciling vendor invoices, statements, POs, receipts, and supporting docs.
• Ensures adherence to disbursement policies, resolves discrepancies with vendors and internal staff.
• Maintains vendor accounts and aging reports, manages credits/overpayments, ensures proper approvals.
• Enters data in AP system, creates payment vouchers, and verifies accuracy of checks.
• Processes employee reimbursements and purchasing card transactions per policy.
• Coordinates and tracks disbursements (checks, wires, ACH) and maintains logs.
• Supports month-end/year-end close, 1099 review, and related audit requests.
• Participates in AP system testing, implementation, and process improvements.
