Job summary

Associa is seeking an Accounts Receivable E-Data Specialist to support processing homeowner and client payments in a centralized accounting environment. This entry-level role handles receiving, reviewing, posting, and depositing payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in North America.

Based onsite in Richardson, TX, the position collaborates with banking partners and internal teams to maintain accurate records and align with Associa's credit requirements.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of banking processes and working with multiple accounts or entities preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, including GAAP, preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process electronic payments, including e-checks, credit card transactions, and lockbox payment files.
• Review, research, and resolve payment exceptions and discrepancies.
• Receive, process, and post homeowner assessment payments.
• Monitor and manage multiple deposit accounts and payment processes.
• Upload and process payment files through designated banking and payment systems.
• Process miscellaneous income receipts and ensure proper posting.
• Prepare and submit bank deposits using RDC equipment and related software.
• Prepare and submit deposits for financial institutions that do not utilize RDC processing.
• Maintain daily tracking logs and payment-processing records.
• Communicate with homeowners regarding payment instructions and remittance processes when needed.
• Follow established policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accurate payment processing.
• Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
