Job summary

Pacific Coast Producers is seeking a Deduction Analyst for its corporate office in Lodi, CA. This full-time, on-site role focuses on investigating and resolving customer deductions to support accurate financial reporting.

The position collaborates with Sales, Customer Service, Billing, and Finance to reduce recurring deductions and improve order-to-cash processes. Strong analytical skills and ERP experience required.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or deduction management
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail; able to communicate with internal/external stakeholders
• Experience with ERP or deduction resolution systems and Excel

Responsibilities

• Investigate customer deductions by reviewing invoices, POD, purchase orders, and portals to determine validity
• Analyze deduction trends to identify patterns and root causes
• Classify deductions as pricing, shortages, returns, freight, or promotional
• Resolve valid deductions per guidelines and dispute/ recover invalid ones
• Collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and Customer Service to verify claims and recover invalid deductions
• Communicate status updates and resolution timelines to internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate deduction activity records in ERP or deduction systems
• Assist audits by providing deduction backup and historical documentation
