Job summary

Synear Foods USA is expanding its accounting team in Los Angeles, CA, seeking an Accounting Clerk to handle daily routine transactions under the Accounting Manager. The role focuses on AR/AP, bank reconciliations, tax reporting, and month-end tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, 1+ years of experience, GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and SAP. Bilingual Mandarin/English preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)
• Bilingual in Chinese Mandarin and English is preferred
• 1+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable or general accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel (e.g., PivotTables, XLOOKUP, data analysis) and Word
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule based on operational needs

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, payment collection, and account reconciliation
• Support accounts payable functions as needed and serve as a backup for both A/R and A/P processes
• Review, verify, and reconcile bank statements and financial transactions to ensure accuracy
• Assist with monthly budget reconciliation and financial analysis to support business decision-making
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports in a timely and accurate manner to ensure compliance and avoid penalties
• Process year-end Form 1099-MISC for vendors in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Maintain confidential financial data, reports, and documentation with a high level of integrity
• Support internal and external audit processes, including preparing schedules and providing requested documentation
• Assist in developing and maintaining accounting SOPs and company-wide financial procedures to improve efficiency and compliance
• Perform additional duties and ad hoc projects as assigned
