Job summary

Synear Foods USA LLC in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting transactions and report to the Accounting Manager. The role focuses on managing A/R operations, assisting A/P, and ensuring accurate financial processing.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, 1+ years of related experience, GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel; SAP experience is a plus. Bilingual Mandarin-English is preferred; a fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
• 1+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable or general accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts receivable (A/R) operations, including invoicing, payment collection, and reconciliation.
• Support accounts payable (A/P) functions as needed and back up A/R and A/P processes.
• Review, verify, and reconcile bank statements and financial transactions for accuracy.
• Assist with monthly budget reconciliation and financial analysis to aid decision-making.
• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports timely to ensure compliance.
• Process year-end Form 1099-MISC for vendors per regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidential financial data and reports with high integrity.
• Support internal and external audit processes with schedules and documentation.
• Assist in developing and maintaining accounting SOPs and procedures.
• Perform additional duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
