Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE is seeking an AR/collection support role in Ohio to post cash to the A/R system and manage receivables. The position offers a pay range of $20.00-$23.00/hour, with compensation based on experience. Education required: certification or associate degree in accounting.

1st shift; shift premium may apply for other shifts. Responsibilities include posting cash, resolving payment discrepancies, maintaining aging reports, and supporting AP entries when needed.

Responsibilities

• Post daily cash deposits and bank wire payments to customers’ accounts in SAP.
• Research and resolve customer payment discrepancies and document findings.
• Maintain Aging Accounts Receivable reports.
• Analyze credit requests and pricing issues to resolve payments.
• Backup entry of Accounts Payable invoices when needed.

About the Role

Basic Purpose: The position involves posting cash to our A/R system and handling collection of outstanding receivables.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00/hour Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Candidates with additional relevant degrees or certifications and extensive experience may be considered for the higher end of the salary range.

Shift: 1st shift.

Education: Certification or Associate's Degree in Accounting required.

Top 5 Tasks for this position

• Work up daily cash deposits and bank wire payments posting to customers’ accounts in SAP; record daily to monthly cash logs for Corporate Accounting.
• Research and resolve customer payment discrepancies maintaining a record of all findings and collection efforts.
• Maintain Aging Accounts Receivable Reports.
• Analyze Credit Requests -pricing issues, RGA's etc, to resolve payment issues.
• Back up on entering Account Payable invoices when needed.
