Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE is seeking a Temporary Employee to Hire for a first-shift position at a pay rate of $19.50 per hour. The role involves hand assembly of gear motors and related components, with responsibilities spanning inventory management to final testing and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Hand assemble gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives.
• Maintain parts stock between assembly lines; manage inventory.
• Inspect finished work and perform rework as needed.
• Follow ISO Quality and safety rules; report unsafe conditions to your manager.
• Pack, ship, test, and prep/paint and general cleanup as required.

About the Role

Temporary Employee to Hire Position Pay Range: $19.50 Per Hour Shift: 1st shift

Top 5+ skills and abilities we are seeking in this Applicant: Must be able to continuously meet the Company’s production requirements. Ability to learn SEW-EURODRIVE products, including technical details. Must have mechanical aptitude required to assemble gear drives and motors. Ability to communicate with all Company employees in a businesslike and professional manner and to follow instructions, written and verbal.

Top 5 skills and abilities we are seeking in this Applicant: Hand assembly of gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives, maintain parts stock between assembly lines, putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping/receiving and general clean up. Must visually inspect all work and rework as necessary. Must comply with all current ISO Quality and Work Instructions for job, all Company Safety rules, and all other Company rules, policies and procedures. Assess each situation and do not perform any tasks which s/he feels is unsafe, on which s/he has not received training, or engage in any unsafe work practices. Report any unsafe condition to his/her manager. Read and understand supporting documentation for the work area.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions. SEW-EURODRIVE provides a generous benefits package to all full time employee. These benefits start on DAY ONE! There is no monthly premium required for Employee's coverage:
