Job summary

Ultimate Staffing in Newport Beach, CA seeks an Associate, Accounts Receivable to join the Client Billing team. The role focuses on calculating client fees and generating invoices, validating revenue data, and resolving billing discrepancies.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in AR or financial operations and strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables). This onsite, contract-to-hire position offers daily hours of 8 AM–5 PM and a pay rate of $40/hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of corporate experience in accounts receivable, billing, or financial operations.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and generate client invoices based on contractual fee schedules and billing requirements.
• Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts and maintain billing-related account information.
• Perform billing calculations, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Review data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve issues through research and cross-functional collaboration.
• Maintain organized documentation supporting calculations and billing outputs.
• Support monthly revenue reporting, accruals, and financial reporting activities.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Account Management, and other internal stakeholders to resolve billing inquiries.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Apply sound judgment when navigating complex or non-standard billing scenarios.
