Job description

Glen Raven is recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Associate

The successful candidate will be responsible for the proper and timely application of all incoming payments, account balancing and reconciliation, and accounts payable duties as assigned. The role involves working closely with Credit Managers, Accounting, Accounts Payable, and business unit managers.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office (Burlington, NC) and 2 days at home.

Responsibilities:
  • Daily cash application
  • Act as primary contact for internal and external application issues
  • Assist with weekly and monthly balance and reconciliation of A/R and sales files
  • Participate in ongoing training and development
  • Assist with reporting and document retention
  • Support A/P functions including check printing and payment application
  • Identify process and system improvements
Education and Experience:
  • At least 5 years of cash application or accounting/bookkeeping experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Excel and Oracle
