• Accounts Payable: support AP workflows for accurate bill processing.
• Special Projects: assist with annual audits/reviews and ad-hoc accounting tasks.

Job Description: Staff Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team, primarily supporting Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoicing: Ensure timely and accurate invoice submission across both our accounting system and customer portals.
• Payment Processing: Accurately apply customer receipts and credit memos.
• Collections: Manage bi-weekly receivable reconciliations and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Returns & Chargebacks: Lead the review and validation of all retailer deductions and chargebacks.
• Accounts Payable: Support AP workflows to ensure accurate bill processing.
• Special Projects: Provide accounting and data support for annual audits/reviews and ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage large volumes of data with high accuracy.
• Comfort handling manual order updates with meticulous attention to detail (timely updates to order statuses and changes are essential for management and finance teams to make informed decisions).
• At least 10years of experience in AR/Accountantrole.
• Experience in purchasing, production, and inventory management is preferred.

Location & Format:

This is a hybrid position following an initial training period. We are currently only considering candidates located in the Greater San Diego area (our office is in Cardiff).
