Job summary

The Champion Firm, Personal Injury Attorneys, P.C. is seeking an accurate AR/AP Specialist to manage accounts receivable and payable with strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities include processing invoices, reconciling statements, preparing deposits, and supporting month-end close with the CFO. Experience with NetSuite or QuickBooks and Excel is required; background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable or similar accounting role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite or QuickBooks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and client information
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Must pass a background search

Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist

About the Role

The Champion Firm is looking for a detail-oriented AR/AP Specialist to handle our accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. Strong organization, attention to detail, analytical skills, and communication skills are a necessity. Only applicants with experience of AR/AP will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

• Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system with proper documentation
• Prepare and schedule weekly check runs
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, duplicate payments, and billing disputes
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain strong relationships

Accounts Receivable

• Responsible for accurately completing deposits
• Accurately record receivables, apply checks or electronic transfers to client or firm accounts

General Accounting and Other Support

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and cash application tasks
• Support CFO for month-end and quarter-end close
• Prepare client expense reports as needed
• Provide support with settlement disbursements
• Provide other administrative duties as needed
