Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a Print Production Coordinator to manage end-to-end production of printed materials and related services. You will engage customers to extract requirements, translate them into precise manufacturing instructions, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple jobs with strict deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant administrative/operational support in manufacturing/office environments.
• Advanced knowledge of technology including computers and software such as MS Office or Mac word processing, spreadsheets, or similar programs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills across departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production of printed materials from initial contact through final disposition of the customer's product.
• Engage customers to gather job requirements and translate into detailed manufacturing/kitting and shipping instructions.
• Provide quality review for other staff to ensure information is accurate before production.
• Ensure job instructions are entered and verified in manufacturing systems and scheduled.
• Communicate with customers throughout production about status and changes.
• Coordinate with internal plants and external vendors as needed.
• Resolve customer or production issues with appropriate departments to determine root causes.
• Assist sales in RFPs by providing estimates and process guidance.
• Monitor job progress and ensure final product meets customer requirements and standards.
