Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of general accounting experience.
• 1-3 years of payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable experience.
• Understanding of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Create and submit invoices to customers.
• Process payments via check, credit card, and EFT.
• Maintain and update customer account information, including billing details.
• Draft and send past-due correspondence for collections.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and contact customers for payment.
• Assist with accounts payable processes and related financial activities.
• Enter and post financial transactions in accounting software.
• Maintain organized financial records (ledgers, journals, receipts, invoices).
• Receive and record cash, checks, and vouchers; prepare bank deposits.
