Maintenance of Dallas, Inc. is seeking an entry-level accounting assistant to support AR activities, invoicing, and payroll data entry in a fast-paced office in Dallas, TX.

You will handle check postings, customer account reviews, and basic reporting while coordinating with subsidiaries. The role requires 1–2 years of accounting exposure, strong Windows and Microsoft Office skills, and reliable transportation for occasional banking tasks.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years entry level accounting experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic bookkeeping
• Familiarity with data entry and payment processing preferred

Responsibilities

• Generate and mail monthly invoices and utility or subsidiary payments.
• Sort, review, and apply check payments to customer accounts
• Process payments for deposits and cash receipts
• Perform data entry including hand-typed invoices and posting
• Prepare weekly and monthly accounting reports
• Assist with payroll data entry and related tasks
• Answer phones, file paperwork, and manage mail
• Drive to bank or post office as needed
