Job summary

Valiant Integrated Services, LLC is seeking an Accounts Payable Payment Administrator to manage vendor setup, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate records across Costpoint and banking platforms. Responsibilities include processing checks, ACH, and wires, resolving vendor inquiries, handling 1099 reporting, and supporting the payment automation project while ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance, or 7 years of accounts payable experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to be organized, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor setups in Costpoint and banking platform to ensure accurate remittance.
• Execute all payments (Check, ACH, Wire) timely per terms.
• Resolve vendor inquiries and AP discrepancies with internal/external teams.
• Track, coordinate, investigate, and reprocess payment returns (EFT, Checks).
• Provide payment confirmations to Business Operations and Audit teams.
• Post and void payments; backup for Concur expenses and cards processing.
• Evaluate and set up vendor registrations in Costpoint; update bank templates.
• Handle 1099 tax reporting, printing and distribution to vendors.
• Assist with payment automation project and related requirements.
