Vaco by Highspring is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead a high-volume AP team in Orange County, CA. This hands-on role oversees invoice processing, vendor management, and month-end close support, driving scalable AP processes and strong internal controls.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of AP experience with supervisory responsibilities, deep ERP knowledge (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/JD Edwards/Dynamics), and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts payable experience with supervisory or team lead responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and accounting principles.
• Experience managing high-volume invoice processing environments.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor Accounts Payable staff, providing coaching and performance support.
• Oversee full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Review invoice coding, approvals, and payment batches.
• Manage vendor relationships and resolve escalated issues.
• Monitor AP aging and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve internal controls.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, Procurement, and Operations teams to support business objectives.
• Assist with audits and provide requested documentation.
• Generate and analyze AP reports and metrics.
