Job summary

Radiology Forward in Los Angeles is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead a small AP team and ensure the timely, accurate processing of invoices and payments. You will drive the month-end close, identify workflow improvements, and serve as the subject matter expert on AP processes for staff and management.

A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 5 years of accounts payable experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• College training substitutes for experience (30 semester hours per year).
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business plus 1 year bookkeeping, accounting or payroll.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 5 staff for accounts payable functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close for Accounts Payable.
• Identify areas of improvement and develop workflow efficiency.
• Coach staff and provide leadership.
• Analyze workflow and workload for efficiency and timely completion.
• Act as SME on accounts payable processes and deadlines for staff and upper management.
• Process urgent check requests with proper approvals.
• Support year-end audit with timely information and relations.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
• Maintain knowledge of AP, GL, COA, and accrual procedures.
• Escalate internal and external issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance of AP processes and controls.
• Attend operational meetings and provide feedback.
