Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher with 2–3 years in accounts payable
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Proficient in Outlook, MS Word and Excel (intermediate)
• Experience with Netsuite ERP preferred

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, contact vendors for invoices, enter invoices, obtain payment authorizations, and process payments
• Perform 3-way match and verify posting accuracy
• Prepare reconciliations and assist in month-end procedures
• Handle tax payments and vendor 1099 information
• Respond to vendor inquiries and generate accounts payable reports as needed
• Maintain compliance with IRS and state requirements
