Responsibilities

• Process payables or receivables using standard accounting principles and data entry systems.
• Coordinate with all departments to ensure correct coding and timely invoicing.
• Ensure proper documentation and approval limits are observed.
• Resolve discrepancies with vendors and address arising issues.
• Validate and mail accounts payable checks.
• Perform account reconciliations and posting to the General Ledger.
• Handle cash application and reconciliation tasks.
• Assist with month-end close activities and journal entries.
• Gather vendor information for 1099 processing.
• Maintain filing of ledgers and AP/AR documentation.
