Job summary

CORPORATE ENVIRONMENTAL RISK MANAGEMENT, L.L.C. seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to support the monthly accounting cycle and assist the Accounting Manager with General Accounting operations. Responsible for day-to-day AP processing, vendor communications, and data entry with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires solid GAAP understanding, strong Excel skills, and experience with Deltek Ajera or similar ERP systems. Collaboration with project teams and internal stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable/receivable and general ledger systems.
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial controls.
• Strong MS Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with Deltek Ajera or similar ERP is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Setup and review new vendors including W-9 verification and insurance requirements.
• Post online payments and maintain recurring payment schedules.
• Process supplier invoices for approval and data entry; reconcile and close AP monthly.
• Assist in bi-weekly AP check runs and ensure supporting documents are attached.
• Interface with internal teams and vendors to resolve disputes and optimize processes.
• Assist in preparation of monthly/annual financial statements and budgeting support.
