Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accurate, timely payables and strong internal controls. The role supports process improvements, reporting, reconciliations, and cross-functional collaboration with global teams.

Responsibilities include coding invoices, PO matching, vendor communications, payments, and maintaining vendor data. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 2–5 years in accounting, and proficiency with MS Office; Dynamics/Epicor/Global Edge

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Two to five years of experience in a computerized business accounting office preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of Dynamics, Epicor, and Global Edge is a plus.
• Customer service and intercultural awareness are valued.

Responsibilities

• Receives, codes, and enters vendor invoices into the workflow system.
• Maintains and updates the vendor database; responds to vendor inquiries.
• Matches PO to invoices and resolves discrepancies.
• Manages vendor payments via check runs; prepares ACH/wire payments.
• Performs process improvements and maintains internal controls.
