Job summary

The Accounts Payable Associate will support the Accounting Department by processing vendor invoices and reconciling statements, partnering with plant personnel, Purchasing, Treasury, and Logistics to ensure timely payments.

You will review documentation, perform 3- and 2-way matches, respond to vendor inquiries, and help streamline processes under supervision.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma.
• Accounting or Accounts Payable experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
• Strong data accuracy and numeric sensitivity.

Responsibilities

• Process and administer vendor invoices for payments.
• Review invoices for documentation and approvals; 3-way & 2-way matches, wire requests, check requests.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries.
• Assist in weekly payment process as required.
• Maintain documentation per company policy.
• With manager approval, streamline processes and collaborate with Purchasing staff.
