Ball Horticultural Company in Chicago, IL is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to process invoices and payments, resolve posting discrepancies, and support vendors and internal teams. You will manage payment runs, create employee profiles in Concur, and ensure timely payments.

The role requires 3 years AP experience, an associate degree in accounting, and proficiency in SAP, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Concur, Esker, and SharePoint is a plus.

Qualificações

• Associate degree or equivalent in accounting.
• 3 years accounts payable and related accounting experience.
• Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
• Proficient in SAP, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with Concur, Esker and SharePoint is a plus.
• Ability to work with vendors and business partners.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with limited supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Verify and process non-PO invoices through Esker.
• Audit and post seed-related invoices in ERP.
• Investigate vendor posting issues and resolve discrepancies.
• Create employee profiles in Concur and process expense reports.
• Review and post transactions and journal entries.
• Execute scheduled ERP payment runs.
• Initiate wire transfers and post payments.
• Manage year-end closing with vendor statements and balances.
• Verfiy vendor banking details verbally.
• Provide backup coverage for A/P team during vacations.
• Respond to vendor inquiries via email.
