Job summary

Westlake Chemical is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to compile and maintain AP records, process invoices, and support monthly closings. You will utilize SAP, VIM, and Kofax Capture, ensure accuracy, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle high-volume workloads are essential. Overtime may be required during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 3+ years related experience.
• SAP and AP workflow experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced AP environments.
• Strong concentration on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with teammates, vendors, and internal customers.
• Ability to prioritize workloads and maintain an organized workspace.
• Reliable attendance with potential overtime during deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Batch and prepare vendor invoices for import or scan into AP workflow.
• Use Kofax Capture OCR to validate and input invoice data.
• Execute basic research functions in SAP.
• Perform intermediate functions in AP workflow software (VIM).
• Create/update Microsoft Excel files.
• Support AP inquiries from plant locations and vendors.
