Job summary

C&B CUSTOM MODULAR INCORPORATED in Indiana is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to support the financial operations of the plant. You will process vendor invoices, verify details, post payments, and assist with month-end activities, audit support, and vendor communications.

The role requires accuracy, confidentiality, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAGE 100); you will work closely with Purchasing and Accounting to ensure timely, compliant processing in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience.
• Experience processing invoices, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting systems—SAGE 100.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable processing and matching invoices to receipts and POs.
• Prepare batches of invoices and data entry.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Manage and post weekly check runs and prepare vendor checks.
• Verify A/P transactions comply with policies and procedures.
• Maintain an accurate listing of accounts payable and vendor information.
• Assist with annual audits and month/year end closing activities.
• Support Accounting Manager and other administrative staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
