Mansfield Service Partners in Houston, TX is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to accurately process vendor invoices and drafts for multiple entities. You will manage AP aging, respond to stakeholder inquiries, and support month-end close while maintaining strong vendor relations.

The role emphasizes accurate voucher processing, tax diversions, and balance sheet account maintenance, with on-site and remote work options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years in accounts payable required.
• Knowledge of G/L and A/P preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
• Kissflow and PDI software processing knowledge preferred.
• Petroleum experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily, accurate coding, processing and reconciliation of vendor invoices for multiple entities using all accounting software.
• Execute weekly check runs/EFT submissions by approved vendor terms/due date.
• Review and resolve discrepancies between vendor statements and AP Aging monthly.
• Maintain communication with vendors to ensure issues are addressed and resolved timely.
• Scanning and filing applicable documents for efficient recordkeeping.
• Provide backup support to cash applications role, as necessary.
• Work with GL team on any month end close functions needed.
• Understand expense accounts and entities.
• Maintain accurate records for auditing purposes.
