Job summary

Mansfield Service Partners in Houston, TX is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage voucher coding, processing vendor invoices, and reconciliations for multiple entities.

Responsibilities include weekly check runs, resolving discrepancies with vendors, maintaining AP aging, and supporting the GL close; the role offers hybrid work with on-site Mon-Thu and remote Fridays, plus a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in accounts payable.
• Knowledge of G/L and AP.
• Thorough knowledge of G/L, and A/P.
• Proficient use of Word, Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Kissflow and PDI software processing.

Responsibilities

• Daily, accurate coding, processing and reconciliation of vendor invoices on behalf of multiple entities using all accounting software.
• Execute weekly check runs/EFT submissions by approved vendor terms/due date.
• Review and resolve discrepancies between vendor statements and AP Aging monthly.
• Maintain communication with vendors to ensure issues are addressed and resolved timely.
• Scanning and filing applicable documents for efficient recordkeeping.
• Provide backup support to cash applications role, as necessary.
• Work with GL team on any month end close functions needed.
• Understand expense accounts and entities.
• Maintain accurate records for auditing purposes.
