Job summary

Rise AMG in Houston, TX is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our in-office team. You will process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure accurate, timely reporting within a fast-paced property-management environment.

Key duties include AP processing and coding, validating vendor information (W-9s and insurance), performing bank reconciliations, supporting month-end close, and identifying process improvements to increase efficiency and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business admin preferred.
• 1-2 years of accounts payable experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Experience with vendor management and insurance/credentials validation.

Responsibilities

• Process and code incoming invoices; ensure timely submission.
• Approve check requests and manage payments.
• Maintain vendor files and records accurately.
• Lead AP aspects of new association transitions to Rise.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist month-end close.
• Collaborate with accounting team for GL accuracy.
• Identify and implement AP process improvements.
