Job summary

CECO Environmental is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payment processing in our Cincinnati office. You will handle invoices, match with purchase orders, and issue payments while upholding internal controls and vendor relationships.

This role supports back-office functions, including reporting and reconciliations, and collaborates across global teams to optimize accounts payable management. Onsite in Cincinnati, OH, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–5 years of experience in a computerized business accounting office preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, and Global Edge is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives, codes, and enters vendor invoices into the workflow system.
• Matches PO to invoices and resolves discrepancies.
• Manages the vendor payment process through scheduled check runs and ACH/wire payments.
• Maintains vendor database and develops relationships with vendors and internal partners.
• Analyzes processes and implements improvements while ensuring internal controls.
