Job summary

Impulse Space is seeking an AP Specialist in Redondo Beach to manage vendor payments and AP processes within our Finance team. The role focuses on maintaining AP controls and processing payments efficiently, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

You will process invoices, manage vendor data, and support month-end close, while ensuring accurate GL coding and tax compliance. Strong Excel skills and ERP experience are preferred for timely financial close.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Knowledge of indirect taxes, e.g., Sales Tax.
• Understanding of internal controls over AP processing.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and payments accurately and timely in the ERP system.
• Maintain Vendor and Customer data in ERP.
• Handle AP inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Develop Policies and Procedures for AP and vendor maintenance.
• Collaborate with Financial Analyst to manage cash flow rules.
