Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 5-10 years of Accounts Payable or general accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with Sandata and digital reporting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for accuracy, proper documentation, and required approvals before processing payments.
• Process invoices and prepare and distribute checks and electronic payments (EFT/ACH).
• Reconcile credit card statements and coordinate with vendors and internal departments to resolve issues.
• Prepare weekly deposits and garnishments checks.
• Maintain accounts payable records, reports, spreadsheets, and filing systems.
• Provide backup support for payroll processing and other departmental financial functions.
• Record and distribute SSI/SSA checks.
• Support DHS applications and Food Stamp/EBT administration as needed.
• Provide administrative and accounting support to Finance leadership.
