Job summary

Westaff in Warwick, RI is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for immediate start. The role requires experience with AP tasks, strong organization, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced accounting team environment.

The ideal candidate will process invoices, reconcile vendor accounts, and support month-end close, while maintaining accurate records and collaborating with internal departments. This is a Monday–Friday daytime position with weekly pay and benefits.

Westaff is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Warwick RI for Immediate Start!

Location: Warwick RI

Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Pay Rate: $20/hour

The ideal candidate will have prior accounts payable experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for accurately processing invoices, reconciling vendor accounts, and supporting the accounting team with various financial and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify vendor invoices
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Research invoice and payment issues
• Coordinate invoice payments with vendors and internal departments
• Assist with month-end activities
• Maintain accurate financial records

Qualifications:

• Previous Accounts Payable experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
