Job summary

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of identifying process improvements while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. This on-site role supports a mission-driven team at our Billings, MT location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related role.
• Criminal/Child Abuse background check as required by MT state.

Responsibilities

• Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices with proper coding and approvals.
• Vendor Management: Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Payment Processing: Prepare electronic payments, checks, and wires per terms.
• Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports per policy.
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly AP reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Reporting: Generate aging and payment forecast reports for management.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement AP process improvements.
