Job summary

Northbound Executive Search represents a well-known financial services firm in New York seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. You will oversee and execute the AP process, manage AP mailboxes, and ensure timely processing of invoices in the AP system.

You will review invoices against service contracts, secure internal approvals, and facilitate vendor payments via ACH, checks, and wires. A 2-5+ year AP background in financial services is preferred, with experience in Microsoft Great Plains.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of Accounts Payable experience in financial services.
• Experience with ERP platforms and AP systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute the Accounts Payable process.
• Maintain and improve the functionality of the AP system.
• Oversee AP mail and email inboxes; ensure invoices are processed.
• Review invoices against service contracts for accuracy.
• Obtain internal approvals for invoices; facilitate payments to vendors via ACH, check, and wire.
