Job summary

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. is seeking an AP Accountant for our San Jose, CA office. You will process vendor invoices, approve payments, and assist with month-end close.

You will support expense reports, manage accruals, and maintain NetSuite records; knowledge of Concur and NetSuite preferred. We offer a competitive salary, 401k, health benefits, PTO, and growth opportunities within a respected engineering firm.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience.
• AA degree in accounting or related field.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Experience with Concur Solutions preferred.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor and sub-contractor invoices, credit memos, refunds.
• Review and process employee expense reports with AP Accountant support.
• Audit vendor bills and credits when required.
• Process weekly check runs (vendor ACH/Wire, manual checks, expense reports).
• Record transactions in NetSuite and manage accruals for month-end close.
• Initiate ACH and wire transfers to vendors.
• Ensure invoices/payments have proper approvals per policy.
• Assist in month-end and year-end reporting and prepare AP reports.
