Life Unlimited is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage routine staff accounting tasks with a focus on processing accounts payable accurately and timely. You'll handle vendor communications, perform data entry, assist with monthly closings, and support the accounting team with standard reporting and records management.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, organization, and dependable follow-through in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• 10-key by touch for accurate data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Open to change and willing to learn new skills.
• Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage.

Responsabilités

• Codes invoices, vouchers, expense reports, check requests with correct codes for entry into the system.
• Handles vendor correspondence via phone or email.
• Investigates and resolves problems with processing invoices.
• Prepares batch check runs.
• Assists with monthly status reports and monthly closings.
• Reconciles accounts and posts corrections as needed.
• Processes remittance information from checks and credits accounts per procedures.
• Receives and resolves inquiries about account status and discrepancies.
• Files, maintains, and distributes accounting documents and reports.
• Prepares manual bank deposits and delivers to bank as necessary.
• Performs other duties to support the Accounting Department.
