Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in Brentwood, TN to ensure timely payment of invoices and maximize discount opportunities. You will process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices and support cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing invoices for documentation, managing the vendor portal, and resolving inquiries while delivering reliable, accurate AP administration and customer service to vendors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years' data entry or imaging in a high-volume AP department.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with Windows OS and basic computer use.

Responsibilities

• Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment; handle exceptions.
• Prioritize and process invoices to maximize cash discount potential.
• Administer vendor portal and resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments as needed.
• Respond, research, and resolve routine inquiries, debit memos, and vendor disputes.
• Provide customer service by communicating with vendors via email, and occasionally by phone or Teams.
