Job summary

Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities, located in Saint Paul, MN, seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist for a part-time, 20-hour-per-week role with a hybrid schedule. You will process invoices, manage payments, and support month-end activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has 0-2 years AP experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and a demonstrated interest in serving underserved communities. Proficiency with Bill.com is a plus.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel and Word.
• Experience or desire to work with underserved communities and people experiencing homelessness or poverty.

Responsibilities

• Carry out established AP processes and procedures.
• Process, verify and reconcile invoices in Bill.com.
• Review invoices for documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Enter and track credits to ensure timely application.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end close and annual financial audit.
