Job summary

The University of Minnesota invites applications for an Accounts Payable Specialist II in a hybrid Twin Cities–area role. You will manage complex AP activities for a portfolio of Resource Responsibility Centers within the Finance Operations Center and collaborate with FinOps, treasury, and supplier teams to ensure timely, accurate payments.

You will use TeamDynamix, Google Suite, and Excel to analyze data, run reports, and advance process improvements while supporting cross-functional colleagues

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and at least two years of professional work experience.
• Ability to run reports, clean and understand data, and present results clearly.
• Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal settings.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable (70%): process payments for a portfolio of RRCs, input vouchers into EFS, process check requests, and reconcile payments.
• Unit Support (15%): assist in producing financial data and running operational reports.
• Professional Development (10%): participate in training and cross-training, mentor colleagues, and contribute to manuals.
